A driver was cited for failure to drive in a single lane after a two-vehicle wreck on Interstate 10 at mile marker 220 on Friday, July 31 at 11:25 a.m., in Jefferson County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol report, Robert Edwards, 86, of Monticello, Fl., was traveling eastbound on I-10 at approximately 70 mph on the inside lane in his 1994 GMC 1500 with a camper. Marshall Lee, 68, of Greenville, Fl. was traveling westbound on the inside lane of I-10 at approximately 70 mph in his 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. Both vehicles were attempting to negotiate a curve in their separate directions of travel. Edwards left the roadway traveling into the median area of I-10 crossing over to the westbound lanes. The edge of Edwards’ vehicle entered into the westbound lane and into the path of Lee. The left front side of Edwards’ vehicle struck the left side of Lee’s vehicle. Lee and Edwards suffered minor injuries. Edwards was cited for failure to drive in a single lane.
