A driver was transported to the Madison County Memorial Hospital after his truck overturned twice on SE Donaldson Road on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 9:16 p.m., in Madison. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Christopher Sapp, 17, of Madison was traveling south on SE Donaldson Road. Sapp stated that he lost steering control of his 2003 Chevrolet 1500. The truck traveled southwest onto the grass shoulder, rotated a quarter turn in a clockwise direction and overturned two times. The truck came to final rest on the west grass shoulder on its roof facing northwest. According to the report, the FHP Trooper John Sleigher checked the truck’s steering parts and the steering was in working order. Sapp was transported to Madison County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. He was charged with careless driving.
