Three men were arrested for Grand Theft of Property and Burglary to Structure, on Thursday, March 13 in Greenville.
According to the Madison County Sheriffs Office deputies were dispatched to a residence on Short Street in Greenville at 11:26 p.m. The victim informed the deputies that as he/she returned home he/she observed three males exiting the home with a flat screen television. The suspects fled when they saw the victim returning home.
The victim recognized two of the three men and was able to give a description of all three. The deputies were familiar with two of the three suspects from previous incidents.
Upon processing the residence, the deputies found that the suspects gained entry into the residence by kicking the door causing the deadbolt and doorknob to fail.
The suspects are Cedrick Brown, 20 of Madison, Laterrius Davis, 19 of Greenville and Brice Hamilton, 19 of Greenville.
All three are charged with Grand Theft of Property and Burglary to Structure. Davis was also charged with possession of marijuana.
The television has not been recovered.
