Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that on Friday, Sept. 9, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Drug Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant along with felony drug arrest warrants at the Madison home of Ryan Gerold Moore, 33; James Randy Stephens, 28; and Ashley Morgan Brown, 19; the home was located at 350 NE Horry Ave.
The search warrant and arrest warrants were obtained as a result of a covert illegal drug distribution investigation conducted by the Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force.
Investigators recovered additional Marijuana, Methamphetamine, LSD (Acid), and controlled pills, along with chemicals and devices used to manufacture methamphetamine.
The MCSO Drug Task Force had previously arrested Stephens on July 1 of 2015, after Stephens received a controlled delivery of a pound and a half of Marijuana that he had mailed to his residence. At the time of the Sept. 9 drug investigation, drug buys, and search warrant Stephens was still serving a pre-trial intervention sentence for the 2015 marijuana arrest.
Moore is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of listed chemicals/manufactured methamphetamine, and possession of drug equipment/paraphernalia.
Stephens is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance (LSD/acid), possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a church, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug equipment/paraphernalia. Stephens was also in possession of a warrant for possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a church and warrant for the sale of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a church.
Brown is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance (LSD/acid), possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a church, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug equipment/paraphernalia. Brown had a warrant out for her arrest regarding for possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a church and a second warrant for the sale of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a church.
