The Madison County High School (MCHS) Cowboys are now Region Three Champions and are just one step away from the State Championship game in Orlando. The final hurdle is a contest against the Blue Devils of Pahokee High School on Friday, Nov. 24. Pahokee is the team that defeated the Cowboys last year in the State semi-final game. The game was later listed as a win for the Cowboys when Pahokee was forced to forfeit their 2016 season, due to an ineligible player on their team.
Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. at Boot Hill Stadium on the MCHS campus. Admission is $9 per person. For full coverage of the Cowboys game against Dixie County, please see today's sports section of the Madison County Carrier. Make your plans now to come out and support your MCHS Cowboys.
