Homegrown businesses are a staple in Madison County. Namely, small town stores and services owned and operated North Florida residents, who know their clients and customers who trust the product being offered.
Locally, Jay's Pharmacy continues to make an impact in Madison. The pharmacy opened in 2018 as a second branch to their store in Perry. Since their opening, Batillo and the Jay's Pharmacy family has made their presence known through being present. Just days after unlocking their doors for the first time, Jay's Pharmacy welcomed Chamber and community members for their official grand opening on Thursday, June 7, 2018. Jay's Pharmacy was also present at the 2018 Fourth of July Celebration making acquaintance with members of the community by making balloon animals for children of all ages and giving away a gift basket, which included a blood pressure monitor.
The pharmacy accepts most insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid, and on-the-spot prescription services, while welcoming special orders. Compounding services are available as well as over-the-counter medication and durable equipment for your medical and mobility needs.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Jay's Pharmacy is taking extreme caution; but their mission remains the same: to provide professional prescription services while developing life-long relationships with the members of the community. The lobby of Jay's Pharmacy is currently closed, but if you have a need, Batillo welcomes you to call in for easy and safe curbside service.
Hours remain the same: Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, Jay's Pharmacy is beginning to close on Saturdays until further notice. Jay's Pharmacy is located at 683 E Base St., in Madison. For more information or for curbside service, call Batillo at (850) 253-2599.
