A school bus struck another vehicle on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 3:31 p.m. on Southwest Jackson Avenue in Madison. The school bus, driven by Lynn Mobley, 60, of Madison was stopped at a stop sign facing south on Southwest Jackson Avenue. Janet Perry, 58, of Madison was stopped in traffic facing north on Southwest Jackson Avenue next to the bus. Mobley began to make a wide right turn onto Southwest Georgetown Avenue. The left rear of the bus collided with the left rear of Perry’s 2012 Nissan Altima. Both vehicles came to a final rest at the initial point of collision. Perry and her passenger Ti’Yai Johnson, 18, of Madison did not receive any injuries. The bus had 23 children as passengers at the time of the crash. Mobley and the children did not receive any injuries. Mobley was cited for failure to drive in a single lane.
