The days of the Florida Licensing on Wheels (F.L.O.W) Mobile visiting the City of Madison are gone.
After the F.L.O.W Mobile’s last visit on Jan. 4, the vehicle will no longer be making an appearance, as there is no longer a need for the mobile unit to visit Madison.
The Madison County DMV office, located at 229 Pinckney Street in Madison, is now fully equipped to take care of the majority of the needs of Madison County’s citizens.
No longer will anyone have to travel to Monticello or Live Oak to get their driver’s license picture taken or the address on their license changed. Vehicles can now be registered right here in Madison and beginner drivers can now take courses in order to receive their learner’s permit.
However, the Madison County DMV office does not handle commercial driver’s licenses or the driving test that is required in order to obtain a standard driver’s license.
By no longer needing the F.L.O.W Mobile, Madison County is taking another step towards becoming fully self-sufficient. So, say goodbye to the F.L.O.W Mobile and hello to Madison’s fully operational DMV.
