Senior Pastor Richard B. Sauls, along with First Lady, Sharon Sauls, Rev. Charles Lasseter, and daughters, Victoria and Hannah, traveled to Baton Rouge, La. on April 18 to the Jimmy Swaggart Easter Camp Meeting.
Pastor Sauls with his wife Sharon by his side, walked up on the stage at Family Worship Center, along with other ministers, to be ordained with World Evangelism Fellowship, a ministry of World Evangelism Bible College and Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.
Pastor Sauls was called to preach at the age of 14 and has pastored churches in Florida, Pennsylvania, Alabama and North Carolina.
The main thrust of Pastor Sauls’ message is the Message of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries and the ministry of the Apostle Paul in the Bible. That is the Message of the Cross – Jesus Christ paid the price so that we can be saved; but not only saved – we can live a life of victory through sanctification, healing, deliverance, and baptism In the Holy Ghost, all through the Cross.
1 Cor. 1:17: “For Christ sent Me not to baptize but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the Cross of Christ should be made of none effect.”
1 Cor. 1:18: “For the preaching of the cross is to them who perish foolishness but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”
1 Cor. 1:23: “For we preach Christ crucified.”
1 Cor. 2:2: “For I determined not to know anything among you save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.”
Gal. 2:20: “I am crucified with Christ nevertheless I live; yet not I but Christ lives in me and the life, which I now live in the flesh I live by faith of the son of God who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Sauls is the Senior Pastor of Lee Worship Center at 471 SE Magnolia Drive in Lee. Pastor Sauls invites anyone who would like a church that preaches the Cross to check out Lee Worship Center. His cell phone number is (919) 745-0225. His assistants are Rev. Charles Lasseter and Brother John Langell, all preaching and teaching the message of the Cross.
