Saddle up and ride strong with Jesus – Yeehaw! – on Cross Canyon Trail during the Vacation Bible School at Landmark Baptist Church.
Set for June 9-13, the Bible school begins at 6 p.m. each evening with grub being served from the chuck wagon in the church’s fellowship hall. Then, it will be time to mosey into the church for the trip across Cross Canyon Trail. The theme of the VBS is “Cross Canyon Trail” and the motto is “Saddle up and ride with Jesus – Yeehaw!”
Monday’s phase of the journey will involve “Ridin’ Ready” as the cowboys and cowgirls will learn the importance of always being ready to serve the Lord.
Tuesday’s journey will teach the cowpokes to ride obedient as students will learn to follow Christ who lives in them.
Wednesday’s leg of the journey will be riding faithful, as students will learn to live faithfully for Christ despite difficulties.
The fourth part of the journey on Thursday will be riding bold as students will learn the importance of sharing Christ with their unsaved family and friends.
As the journey through Cross Canyon comes to an end on Friday, cowboys and cowgirls will learn to ride courageously. They will learn the importance of standing with Christ against evil and danger, not only in Cross Canyon, but on their lifelong journey with Jesus.
Landmark Baptist Church welcomes all who want to attend the VBS. The church is located at 3399 West US 90, west of Madison.
Rev. Robert Ledford is the pastor.
