Project Graduation will be May 30 at the MCHS starting at 10 p.m., and the event will not end until 6:30 a.m., the next morning.
Project Graduation is meant to be a place for students to hang out with their friends in a safe environment after graduation. The students will spend two hours outside where there will be a waterslide, tug-of-war, horseshoes and water balloon volleyball. The Kiwanis Club of Madison will be cooking hamburgers and hotdogs for the students to enjoy.
After the outside fun, the students will be in the gym for the rest of the evening. There will be games for the students to enjoy including ping-pong tables and limbo. There will also be a simulation of what it is like drunk driving and crashing.
There will be money and prizes given away throughout the evening. If any one would like to make a donation, contact the MCHS or call Gina Sapp at (850) 973-7136.
