Get ready, Madison! Prayer Never Fails is scheduled to hit theaters on Jan. 15. Prayer Never Fails, a film directed by Wes Miller, follows the story of a basketball coach who is fired for praying with a student. Miller and his crew filmed scenes for the movie in several different places in Madison, including the Madison County Courthouse and Madison County Central School. Prayer Never Fails features top stars such as Nick Lashaway, known for his roles in In Time, X-Files and The Last Song; Eric Roberts, known for playing James Munroe in the Expendables and Maroni in the Dark Knight; Lorenzo Lamas, known for his roles in Grease, Renegade and The Bold and the Beautiful. The Young and the Restless star Corbin Bernsen also stars in the film. The movie also features many Madison residents, including Ted Ensminger as Principal Patterson, the principal who fires the coach, Reggie Daniels as the Juror, Marianne Graves as Dr. Mitchell, Jessica Webb as the wife of Judge Rogers played by Lamas, Justin Webb as assistant basketball coach and Dawn Renner as a teacher in the film, along with many more familiar faces of Madison County. What a better way to ring in the new year; by seeing an inspiring film featuring some of Madison's own!
