The United States Postal Service (USPS) is reporting that an unknown person or persons vandalized a United States Postal Service postal box outside the Greenville Post Office, sometime over the weekend.
It is not known what was taken. However, in the interest of caution, the Greenville Post Office would like to advise everyone that if any checks were dropped into the postal box between 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 6 and 6:30 a.m., on Monday, Jan. 8, when the vandalism was discovered, it would be wise to consult with your local bank. The USPS assumes no liability for anything stolen.
