Lowe had been seen in Madison County and when deputies and U.S. Marshals went to arrest him, he fled on foot in the U.S. 221 North area. He ended up in Georgia after being given a ride by an older couple on a dirt road off U.S. 221.

Lee Man Arrested In Suwannee County

On Wednesday, July 30 Suwannee County Sheriff’s Deputy Tommy Ketner arrested Joshua Nicholas Blanton, 24, of Lee. Blanton was charged with aggravated battery – domestic, domestic battery and criminal mischief.
According to a Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office report, at approximately 7:37 p.m., Deputy Ketner responded to East Hwy 90 and CR 137 in reference to someone striking a vehicle with a baseball bat. Upon arrival he made contact with the victim who was sitting on the back of a truck, which appeared to be covered in blood. Ketner observed Blanton standing next to the truck when he began to walk away yelling “to take him (Blanton) to jail he wanted to kill the victim and he had already messed the truck up and beat the victim up”. Blanton was placed in custody. The victim stated they had been involved in an altercation at the County Line Bar when the victim attempted to leave Blanton jumped in the back of the truck, found a baseball bat and started beating the windows out of the truck while the victim was driving. He then tried to choke the victim while driving. The victim stopped the truck and Blanton continued to hit him. Upon further investigation, Ketner determined the blood on the truck was Blanton’s due to injuries he received from broken glass. EMS responded to treat his wounds; the victim also had numerous cuts on his face and neck.
Blanton was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges. Bond was set at $7,500.00 and he remains in custody.

A man was injured in an accident at the westbound 240-mile marker on Interstate 10 on Sunday afternoon, August 3.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, Iieah Colleen Zullo, 25, of Tallahassee, was westbound on I-10 in a 2003 Nissan in the outside traffic lane.    Beck took evasive action to avoid a collision with Zullo and drove into the median. He traveled partially in the grass sloping median of I-10 and then back broadside westbound.
Beck then overturned at least one complete turn and came to a final rest in both the outside and inside traffic lanes of I-10, facing south.  He stayed inside the vehicle as it overturned.
Zullo came to a final rest in the westbound emergency lane of I-10, just west of the crash scene.
