Didn't have a girl? Liam took first-place with Noah coming in second. Logan jumped up eight spots from 2016 to take third place. Then, it was: Lucas, fourth; Mason, fifth; Oliver, sixth; Ethan, seventh; Elijah, eighth; Aiden, ninth; and James, tenth. This is the first time ever recorded that Liam held the number one spot.
Want to know how much times have changed? 100 years ago, Emma was 46th most popular in 1917 and Mary was the most popular name. John was also number one in 1917; there is no record of the name Liam, in 1917. Mary currently lists 171st most popular and John is the 43rd most popular name given.
