North Florida Community College’s (NFCC) Community Theatre troupe, the Sentinel Upstage Players, will perform Welcome to Walt's, a military-themed comedic drama chronicling the struggles of balancing one’s sense of duty with the weight of responsibility back at the home front, on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 10 and 11 at Van H. Priest Auditorium. Written and directed by Johnathan A. Cooks, Multimedia & Public Relations Manager at NFCC, the play features 13 local actors including NFCC students, alumni, employees and community members. The Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7 p.m. Veterans receive free admission and a Veterans Day ticket special is being offered to everyone – buy two tickets, get one free. Tickets are available in advance from the NFCC College Advancement Office (Bldg. 32), online at www.ticketsource.us/nfcc, or at the door the night of the performance. Tickets are $6 each.

In honor of Veterans Day, a portion of the proceeds from this production will be donated to Wounded Warrior Project.
