The Madison County community will join with millions of others for the 65th Annual National Day of Prayer service which will be held on Thursday, May 5th at 5:30 p.m. Members of the community will gather at the west steps of the Madison County Courthouse to seek the Lord in prayer for our nation, state, community and city. The theme for 2016 is “Wake Up America.”
The service will feature prayers by numerous community leaders. The prayer topics will be the centers of power: local government, business community, local economy, schools, churches, law enforcement agencies, state and national leaders, upcoming elections and ethnic unity.
The National Day of Prayer brings citizens together to celebrate our freedom and to humbly come before God and seek his mercy and guidance before his throne of grace.
