Allie Wilkerson, a sophomore at James Madison Preparatory High School, had never done a pageant before she entered the Miss Madison County pageant in February. In fact, she had to do some convincing to talk her mother into allowing her to enter the pageant. "I've never done any pageants and I thought it would be fun," said young Wilkerson. "You get to dress up and be pretty." Wilkerson was finally able to convince her mom that it would be a worthwhile endeavor and Wilkerson made the most of the opportunity. She was crowned Teen Miss Madison County, winning several categories such as Best Stage Presence, Talent and Most Photogenic.
During her reign as Teen Miss Madison County, she will make her presence known at numerous events throughout the county. In fact, she has already begun meeting many of the business owners around Madison and obviously enjoys her new duties. "I am having so much fun," says Wilkerson.
Allie is the daughter of Philip and Margaret Wilkerson.
