A man was arrested at his residence for marijuana possession after he fled from officers on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 10:58 a.m. in Madison. According to the Madison Police Department report, an officer was called to assist another officer with an investigation of Anthony Tumbling, 46, of Madison, Fl. as he was sitting outside his residence with another person near a burn barrel. When the officer arrived, Tumbling fled on foot and as he passed the burn barrel, the officer observed him drop a white object in. The officer detained Tumbling and investigated the burn barrel.
They discovered a balled up piece of white paper that contained loose marijuana and small green zip lock baggies. Tumbling had loose marijuana and a large amount of U.S. currency on his person. The officer then searched his residence and discovered small amounts of loose marijuana and more small baggies. Officers arrested Tumbling and he was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession with drug paraphernalia.
