Madison Sporting Goods And Pawn Burglarized

Madison Sporting Goods and Pawn was burglarized on March 21 at 4:18 a.m. During the initial search, the owners saw nothing missing. According to Police Chief Gary Calhoun, after a closer look, the owners discovered a BB gun and some BB’s missing.
According to the Madison County Police report, city waste management employees noticed that the glass in the door was shattered. The city waste management employees did not see anyone enter or leave the building.
Corporal Rosenberg and Officer Johnson entered the building and searched the building. No one was discovered.  Corporal Rosenberg noticed a Louisville Slugger TPS Fast Pitch softball bat on the walkway. It had marks and scratches on it.
According to the Madison County Police report, the back door knob was hanging and appeared to be tampered with to gain entry but was not the entry point.
According to Police Chief Gary Calhoun, a juvenile was question and released.
