The Madison Post Office hosted a Customer Appreciation Day on Thursday, August 7, at 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. There were plenty of refreshments for customers to enjoy as they met the new postmaster, Erica Carmichael. Also in attendance was Dee Carter, Customer Relations Coordinator and Linda Pierle, Business Development Specialist, from the District Office in Jacksonville.
The new Farmers Market Forever Stamp was also introduced at the event. Thursday was the first day of issue for the new stamp. Customers who purchased a book of the new stamps were entered to win a prize basket.
The Madison Post Office also had information available for business owners to learn how the post office can help your business, and information for customers on how they can protect themselves from mail scams.
