Madison County Fire Rescue will be out celebrating EMS Week with various events in Madison County from Sunday, May 16 through Saturday, May 22. This week recognizes EMTs and paramedics for their role in providing basic and advanced life support responses in an emergency when needed.
On Tuesday, May 18 at 11 a.m., crews will be at Lee Town Hall, located at 286 CR 255, in Lee, conducting free blood pressure checks and handing out free vial of life kits.
On Thursday, May 20 at 11 a.m., crews will be at Greenville Town Hall, located at 154 SW Old Mission Ave., in Greenville, conducting free blood pressure checks and handing out free vial of life kits.
On Friday, May 21 at 5:30 p.m., crews will be at Grumpy's Diner, located at 244 SW Range Ave., in Madison, handing out free vial of life kits and conducting free blood pressure checks.
These events will allow members of the community to meet local EMTs and paramedics, while also retrieving health advice and blood pressure checks.
