Sawyer Crosby is the five-year-old son of Jimmy and Chelsea Crosby. At two-years-old, he was faced with a battle that no child should ever have to endure. Sawyer was diagnosed with cancer. After a fight that lasted nearly three years, Sawyer was finally deemed cancer-free at his most recent chemo treatment.
In celebration of his victory, Chelsea is organizing a private party at C & D Bistro on Sunday, June 13. However, the community is invited to join in the parade that will pass by C & D Bistro, down Pinckney Street. Anyone interested in joining the parade can decorate their vehicle and meet at the courthouse, located at 125 SW Range Ave., in Madison, at 4:45 p.m. The parade will begin at 5 p.m. and will also include tractors, police cars and firetrucks.
