The Madison Lions Club had the first of the Turkey Shoots, on Saturday, Oct. 11. Many had the chance to sharpen their shooting skills and some even won turkeys. With the warm weather, it is hard to really get into the spirit of the season. Ninety degrees in October does not make you think of hunting. The Madison Lions Club is providing a fun and safe environment for families to come and introduce their children to the world of shooting. All children are under strict parental control for safety at all times.
The Madison Lions Club congratulates Hickory Grove on another year of service to the Lord. We will extend our Turkey Shoot so that everyone can possibly come to both events and have a fun filled Saturday. The Turkey Shoot will start Saturday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. and stay open until 4 p.m.
You do not need to have a gun to participate; we have guns available for the event.
For the Team Competition, go to www.madisonlionclub.com to pre-register and possibly win the golden trophy and the right to claim that your team is the Best of the Best. Do you have what it takes?
And don’t worry if you haven’t had a chance to get your shotgun ready, we will have practice rounds to get you there.
“Looking forward to seeing everyone there,” said President Madison Lions Club Tim Dunn.
