Lady Warriors Stand 3-1

The Aucilla Christian Academy varsity Lady Warriors recently split two games to now stand 3-1 on the season. On Feb. 11, the Lady Warriors hit the diamond against Florida High and Aucilla was blanked for a 4-0 loss. As a team Aucilla had 27 at-bats, three hits, two walks, five strikeouts, three reach on errors, one fielder’s choice, and two hit by pitches. Ramsey Sullivan had three at-bats, one hit, and one hit by pitch. Carly Joiner had three at-bats, one fielder’s choice and one hit by pitch. Kelly Horne had four at-bats, and one strikeout. Elizabeth Hightower had four at-bats, and one reach on error. Abigail Morgan had three at-bats, and one reach on error. Natalie Sorensen had two at-bats, one hit, one reach on error, and one walk. Whitney Stevens had two at-bats, and one walk. Taylor Copeland had three at-bats, and two strikeouts. Courtney Watts had two at-bats, and two strikeouts. Emma Witmer had one at-bat, and one hit. On the field, the Lady Warriors had 24 total chances, four assists, 18 putouts, two errors, and a fielding percentage of .917. Stevens had one total chance, one putout, and a fielding percentage of 1.000. Sorensen had three total chances, one assist, two putouts, and a fielding percentage of 1.000. Sullivan had five total chances, five putouts, and a fielding percentage of 1.000. Horne had two total chances, one putout, one error, and a fielding percentage of .500. Morgan had four total chances, four putouts, and a fielding percentage of 1.000. Hightower had four total chances, two assists, two putouts, and a fielding percentage of 1.000. On the mound, Hightower pitched seven innings, gave up six hits, four runs, two of which were earned, four walks, five strikeouts, 69 strikes on 112 pitches, four ground outs, nine fly outs, and 20 first pitch strikes on 28 batters faced. Aucilla faced off against Lafayette County on Feb. 13 and the Lady Warriors came out on top of a 10-8 scoreboard. Aucilla had 35 plate appearances, 29 at-bats, seven hits, three singles, two doubles, one triple, one homerun, eight RBI’s, five walks, and five strikeouts. Stevens had four plate appearances, four at-bats, and one strikeout. Witmer had three plate appearances, three at-bats, one RBI, and one strikeout. Sorensen had four plate appearances, two at-bats, one run, two walks, and one strikeout. Sullivan had four plate appearances, four at-bats, and one run. Horne had four plate appearances, three at-bats, two hits, two doubles, two RBI’s, and three runs. Morgan had four plate appearances, three at-bats, one hit, one triple, two RBI’s, one run, and one walk. Hightower had four plate appearances, four at-bats, two hits, one single, one homerun, two RBI’s, two runs, and one strikeout. Copeland had four plate appearances, three at-bats, one hit, one single, one RBI, one walk, and one strikeout.
