After a very successful year, the Aucilla Christian Academy Lady Warriors wrapped up the regular and post season on a 19-3 record, won their fourth consecutive District Title, the 10th in 11 years and the 11th in 13 years; they won their third Regional Title ever; and they went into the State Finals for the first time ever to wind up the season as the State Runner-Up.
This very productive season has produced some very impressive statistics for the Lady Warriors.
As a team, at the plate, Aucilla has played in 22 games, had 701 plate appearances, 582 at bats, 209 hits, 144 singles, 45 doubles, 12 triples, eight homeruns, 165 RBIs, 236 runs, 12 hit by pitches, 48 reach on errors, 16 fielder’s choice, 100 walks, 90 strikeouts, a batting average of .359, an on base percentage of .458 and a slugging average of .519.
Abigail Morgan played in 22 games, with 78 plate appearances, 54 at bats, 14 hits, nine singles, three doubles, one triple, one homerun, 18 RBIs, 20 runs, three reach on errors, 21 walks, 12 strikeouts, a batting average of .259, an on base percentage of .449 and a slugging average of .407.
Ashlyn Rogers played in two games, with five plate appearances, five at bats, four hits, three singles, one triple, five RBIs, two runs, a batting average of .800, an on base percentage of .800 and a slugging average of 1.200.
Carly Joiner played in 21 games, with 75 plate appearances, 69 at bats, 25 hits, 20 singles, five doubles, 11 RBIs, 33 runs, one hit by pitch, six reach on errors, five fielder’s choice, five walks, six strikeouts, a batting average of .362, an on base percentage of .413 and a slugging average of .435.
Courtney Watts played in 13 games, with 31 plate appearances, 22 at bats, six hits, five singles, one double, two RBIs, nine runs, two hit by pitches, one reach on error, two fielder’s choice, seven walks, six strikeouts, a batting average of .273, an on base percentage of .3484 and a slugging average of .318.
Elizabeth Hightower played in 20 games, with 74 plate appearances, 70 at bats, 25 hits, 14 singles, four doubles, three triples, four homeruns, 28 RBIs, 22 runs, eight reach on errors, two fielder’s choice, four walks, seven strikeouts, a batting average of .357, an on base percentage of .392 and a slugging average of .671.
Emma Witmer played in 19 games, with 46 plate appearances, 40 at bats, 13 hits, eight singles, three doubles, two triples, 14 RBIs, 10 runs, two hit by pitches, three reach on errors, four walks, seven strikeouts, a batting average of .325, an on base percentage of .413 and a slugging average of .500.
