Jimmy Fletcher Ordained As Minister

Jimmy Fletcher was ordained as a minister on Sunday evening, March 23, at Hopewell Baptist Church.
The ordination committee, composed of Rev. Preston Gainey, pastor of Hopewell Baptist; Rev. Toney Hill, pastor of Greenville Baptist; Rev. Gerald Greenlee, pastor of O’Quinn Baptist in Georgia; Dr. Mike Miller, Director of Missions for the Middle Florida Baptist Association;  and Rev. Jackie Watts, pastor of Fellowship Baptist, as well as Tim Thompson, Johnny Carroll, David Wesson, John Jackson and Ed and Buddy Sapp, asked Fletcher questions before he spoke at the service.
Following the questioning, Greenlee charged Fletcher and Gainey challenged the church.
Fletcher was officially presented with his ordination papers and his license.
Fletcher currently serves as the pastor of Sirmans Baptist Church. He and his wife, Amy, have two daughters, Macy and Cally.
