Madison’s 911 Communication received a call for a house fire at 445 NE Pentas Street off of Rocky Ford Road in Cherry Lake on Monday, Oct. 26 at 9:15 a.m. The house was not occupied at the time of the fire and no one was injured. According to the Madison Fire Rescue report, there is moderate damage to the exterior of the home and some damage to the interior. The fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal since the fire appears to have started outside of the home. Cherry Lake Volunteer Fire Department, Pinetta Volunteer Fire Department, Madison Fire Rescue, Madison County EMS and Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call.
