The Greenville Public Library will re-open on Monday, Sept. 28 at the new location. The library is now located at 1325 SW Main Street, Greenville. There will be a re-opening ceremony at 4 p.m. with ribbon cutting and refreshments to follow. The tentative hours of operation are Monday - Friday 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and are closed Saturday and Sunday. Suwannee River Regional Library Director Betty Lawrence would like to see the library stay open without closing at lunchtime to allow those who work to have access during their lunch but will have to assess the hours once it has been re-opened. “I would like to thank the community and everyone who had a roll in making this happen,” said Lawrence. “I appreciate their patience and support.”
