Glow-ball to bring new spin on golf

Madison County Golf and Country Club is taking golf to a whole new level: glow-in-the-dark. “Glow-ball” will be held Saturday, August 29 beginning at 5 p.m. at the Madison County Golf and Country Club. There will be nine holes played before dark and nine holes played after dark with glow-in-the-dark golf balls. The 18-hole course will be played in scramble format. The golf course will be lit up when the sun goes down.

After the first nine holes, there will be a covered-dish potluck. All those interested in attending are encouraged to bring covered dishes for the potluck. All proceeds will benefit the Madison County High School Golf Team. Participants must pay $45 at registration in order to attend this event.
