It all started as vertigo. That's what took Jim Adams to the hospital and through brain surgery to remove a tumor. Miraculously, the tumor was not cancerous. Now, weeks after his surgery, Adams is improving through physical therapy and a seven year-old girl is wanting to make a difference for Adams and his family.
Ashlynne Hendrix, Seven, received just over $100 for her birthday in October. Unlike many kids though, she spent her birthday money on all of the supplies to put together a lemonade stand.
On Friday, Nov. 17, Hendrix will be selling lemonade, brownies and cookies in support of Jim Adams and his family. If you would like to help the Adams family, Hendrix will be set up on the Courthouse lawn, located at the intersection of Range St. and US Hwy. 90, in Madison. Hendrix will be selling treats from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., or until supplies run out.
