The Family Dollar company has applied for rezoning of property across from the old Lee General Store on U.S. 90 from residential to commercial. They applied for the rezoning in August. The Planning and Zoning Board will meet to decide on rezoning the property on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 6 p.m. The Lee Town Council will hear the recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Board and vote on Family Dollar’s rezoning at the 7 p.m. meeting. The public is welcome to attend both meetings at Lee City Hall.
