The Florida Licensing On Wheels (F.L.O.W) Mobile is making its monthly appearance on Monday, Jan. 4 in the Winn-Dixie parking lot from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Madison County does not have a DMV office in town and, while most of the time you might have to travel to Perry or Live Oak to do things like get a driver’s license or renew your vehicle’s disabled parking placard, once a month the F.L.O.W mobile can take care of all your DMV needs as a regular DMV office would. Issuing driver’s license and identification cards, renewing vehicle registrations and issuing and renewing disabled parking placards are all services that the F.L.O.W mobile is able to offer while parked for five hours in the Winn-Dixie parking lot. The F.L.O.W Mobile arrives on the first Monday of each month. For more information, call the Madison County Tax Collector’s Office at (850) 973-6136.
