As evening falls on Monday, Oct. 31, children will walk the sidewalks of Downtown Madison in pursuit of treats.
The annual community trick-or-treating event will again be held in Downtown Madison by the Madison Police Department.
Civic or community groups, businesses, churches, or political candidates are invited to come out and set up a stand to pass out candy, free of cost, to the costumed children of the community.
There is no cost or deadline to register for Downtown Halloween, but the Madison Police Department does request that they are informed before anyone just comes out to set up. Those interested in setting up a booth can do so by calling the Madison Police Department at (850) 973-5077, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Downtown Halloween will begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31.
