Cowgirls Beat Suwannee High In Live Oak

The Madison County High School Cowgirls softball team improved their record to 3-3 on March 4 with a road victory against the Suwannee High Lady Bulldogs in Live Oak.
The Lady Bulldogs led 2-1 at the end of the first inning.
The Cowgirls fought back in the second inning, adding another run and tying the game at 2-2.
The bats of the Lady Bulldogs came alive in the third inning and they went up 6-2 after scoring four runs in the third inning to the Cowgirls’ zero.
Both teams were scoreless in the fourth inning and the game remained 6-2 in favor of the Lady Bulldogs.
The Cowgirls fought back in the fifth inning, scoring four runs and holding the Lady Bulldogs to none, tying the game 6-6.
The game remained deadlocked at 6-6 at the end of the sixth inning.
The seventh and final inning saw the Cowgirls’ bats coming back to life as they scored four more runs, giving them a 10-6 lead.
The Lady Bulldogs scored a run in the seventh inning but the Cowgirls held on for a thrilling 10-7 win.
