Cowboys Win Spring Game Against Hamilton

The Madison County High School Cowboys played a spring football game on Friday, May 23, with the Hamilton County High School Trojans and won with a final score of 37 to 7.
The Cowboys had a total of 66 plays and a total of 465 yards. With the 52 rushing attempts for 349 yards, five resulted in touchdowns.
The Cowboys had 10 successful passes in their 14 attempts. In the game, five different players scored for the Cowboys. The defense only allowed seven points, which was set by a fumble on the Cowboys side.
According to Assistant Coach James Ertzberger, the Cowboys offensive line played well and operated at a good tempo. The defensive team operated well and forced the Trojans into several three and out situations resulting in many punts.

Hamilton.
