Concert To Raise Money For Farm Share

The McCormick Family, the Cressleys and the Willow Creek Band will be among the performers to kick off the opening of the brand new Madison County Opry Hall this Saturday evening, June 21, in Madison.
The event will raise money for Farm Share of Madison. There will be no admission. Donations and a love offering will be accepted.
According to their website (www.farmshare.org), Farm Share provides more than 23 million pounds of nutritious food to more than one million low-income households across Florida, works with 500 community groups every day throughout Florida to help feed the hungry, gives more than 25,000 volunteer hours to help provide food and nutrition to our elderly, children, veterans and low-income families.
Brenda McCormick will be selling tickets for $1 each for chances to win cakes and prizes. For donations or more information, contact Chad McCormick, Farm Share manager, at (850) 464-6190.
Gospel starts at 6 p.m. Country at 7 p.m., located in the old Madison House building next to the jail.
Drinks, hotdogs and chips will be provided for donations.
