City of Madison residents and businesses in a 35-block area north of Base Street (U.S. 90) will likely experience decreased water pressure on the night of Thursday, May 15, when city water crews replace a water valve.
The repair will take place at the intersection of Northwest Sumter Street and Northwest Meeting Avenue. The area expected to be impacted is from Livingston Street in the north to Base Street (U.S. 90) in the south and from Crane Avenue in the west to Northeast Duval Avenue (North State Road 145) in the east.
To reduce the impact on residences and businesses, city work crews will conduct the repair at night from 10 p.m. to midnight.
