January 9
The Second Annual Pure Gold Gospel Music Event, featuring Wilburn and Wilburn, is at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in Madison. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Host group, LifeSong, will perform. For more information, please call (850) 464-0114.
January 10
The Third Annual Community Church Event will be at Wally and Vonnie Davis’ house at 5757 Rocky Ford Rd., Madison, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All the activities and the lunch consisting of grilled chicken, ribs and all the sides will be at no charge! There will be events for youth, children and adults. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy some gospel singing with the Purvis Boys, Madison Church of God Praise Team and local talent. There will be horse rides, along with Rev. Rick Lane Horse Ministries, train rides, horse and buggy rides and shooting activities after lunch with archery and B.B.’s. There will be a shuttle from the parking area to the events. Free vegetables and canned goods will be available to be taken home at no charge; compliments of Farm Share out of Quincy. New Bethel P.B. Church will hold a Family and Friends Service at 11 a.m. Elder James Baker of Mt. Olive will officiate the service. All are welcome to attend.

Middle Florida Baptist Association to participate in Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.
February 10
WMU Rally to be held at Hopewell Baptist Church. Baby bottles for Madison’s pregnancy center will be collected and donated. Make sure you turn in your bottles filled with change to the MFBA at 349 SW Captain Brown Road, Madison before the WMU Rally. Empty bottles can be picked up at A Women’s Pregnancy Center, located at 345 Northwest Marion Street, Madison.
