Celebration Singers to perform at Mt. Olive Baptist Church

The Celebration Singers, a southern gospel-singing group, is not your typical southern style gospel group, as they enjoy singing country gospel selections and might even throw in a touch of bluegrass.

If you like a variety, you will enjoy their music. They will be singing at the Down Home Days Festival, Saturday, April 16, at 11 a.m. at the Four Freedoms Park in Madison. Sunday morning they will be singing at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, south on Hwy 53 in Madison, at 11 a.m.; everyone is welcome!

C & N Music Ministries is comprised of Celebration Singers and N-Joy Music Ministries. This group formed in July of 2015, following God’s prompting. The group consists of Carol Peaden, who is well known throughout the Glades. She has invested her life in the community and raised four children following her husband’s passing. God has blessed her with a talent for singing and her ministry of music has reached many throughout the state. Today, she has four children, nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Emma Polly comes from the mountains of West Virginia over 40 years ago and moved to Vero Beach. She is married to Gary Polly and has one daughter. She was one of the first members of the Celebration Singers when it originally formed over 35 years ago.

Judy Rowan began singing at the age of three, when she appeared on stage at Walt Disney World in California singing “Davy Crockett.” She continued singing at her church and local radio stations. She currently sings at nursing homes and events in the community. She writes many songs for N-Joy. She has one son and lives in Jupiter, Fl.

Ginger DeLong sang with the church choirs, has acted in plays and has appeared in pageants. She was very involved with the youth along with her sister. She is an ordained Minister of Music and earned her Doctorate in Ministry in 2014 and currently pastors a church in Jupiter, Fl.

They travel the state of Florida singing in churches and festivals. Since the mid 80s, God has blessed them in many ways for their service for Him.

Make plans to see them perform at the gazebo in Four Freedoms Park on Saturday, April 16 and at Mt. Olive Baptist Church on Sunday, April 17. Both concerts will begin at 11 a.m. For more information, call (850) 519-1613.
