MCHS junior varsity Cowboys lasso Bulldogs

The Madison County High School junior varsity basketball team had to dig out of a sizable hole when they faced the Bulldogs of Taylor County High School on Saturday, Jan. 20. Cowboys tame Tigers

It was a winning evening at home for Madison County High School (MCHS) hoops on Tuesday, Jan. 16 as the MCHS boys’ junior varsity, girls’ varsity and boys’ varsity teams all saw action against district rival Jefferson Somerset School, from Monticello. That’s when the MCHS junior varsity and varsity basketball teams hosted the Scorpions of Crossroad Academy, from Quincy, Fl. Cowboys repeat as tournament champs

For the second year in a row, the Madison County High School (MCHS) Cowboys brought home the hardware as tournament champs in the Baker County Florida First Coast Basketball Tournament. The tournament was played over the three-day span of Dec. 28 through Dec. 30, in Glen St. Mary, Fl.
