Homecoming in Sirmans

John Willoughby: Greene Publishing, Inc. Sirmans Baptist Church would like to invite the Madison County community and all who will join them for their homecoming services on Sunday, March 25. Services begin at 10:30 a.m., with good ole fashioned gospel singing, followed by morning worship. The speaker will be Brother Wayne Sullivan. Madison First Baptist Church hosting Super Science Saturday

Mickey Starling: Greene Publishing, Inc. Madison First Baptist Church (MFBC) will be hosting Super Science Saturday on Saturday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Lunch will be provided after the event. This fun-filled day will give area fifth-graders an opportunity to work through six hands-on stations in order to learn and/or enhance key concepts that will be tested on the science portion of the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT). Mickey Starling: Greene Publishing, Inc. Community Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 28, on Wally Davis’ farm, located at 5757 NE Rocky Ford Rd., in Madison. This yearly event, which begins at 10 a.m., is sponsored by area churches and volunteers coordinated by Timmy Dykes. Dykes is in the planning stages for this year’s event and is in need of additional cooks, volunteers, and financial support. Mickey Starling: Greene Publishing, Inc. St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church (SJMBC) welcomed Bryant Thigpen as their new pastor on Sunday, March 11. Thigpen has spoken at SJMBC several times since May of 2017 but didn’t have pastoring on his mind. However, it became clear to Thigpen that the Lord did have that on His mind.
