According to sources, early morning on Wednesday, May 25, around 3:30 a.m., a CSX train operator called the Madison County 911 Communications with reports that a body was laying on the side of the tracks that run adjacent to ER Scott Street.
The Madison Police Department responded to the call and found a black male that showed signs of a possible murder by firearm.
The Madison Police Department and Florida Department of Law Enforcement are both currently still on the scene investigating the nature of the victim’s death as well as the identity of the victim.
