The place to be this Friday, Sept. 26, is at the Madison County Courthouse lawn for some great bar-b-que to help Clint and Christi Handfield and family, who will be moving to Ethiopia in January of 2015. The menu will consist of pulled pork sandwiches, chips, dessert and bottle of water for $6.
Among the chefs for the event is Timmy Dyke, pastor of Pine Grove Baptist Church, who will be cooking up delicious bar-b-que.
The Handfield family will be packing their bags and moving to Ethiopia in a few months to work as English teachers.
“We’re going over there to teach english and serve the people, in hopes that we will better their life,” Clint Handfield said.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Delivery is available.
