Area churches hold joint vacation bible school

Cherry Lake First Baptist Church served as the location for a joint community vacation bible school (VBS) coordinated by Cherry Lake First Baptist Church and Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church. It began Sunday, July 16 and went through Friday, July 21, from 6 pm. until 9 p.m. Classes were held for ages two - adult. The theme was "Over the Moat: Drawbridge to the King." Students learned about the life of David.

Rotations consisted of class time, arts/crafts, music, and recreation. The average in attendance each night was 106. Five accepted the Lord during VBS this year. Everyone in attendance greatly enjoyed the week!!
