Two children who had been reported missing from St. Petersburg, Fl. were found safe in Madison County.
The children, 4-year-old Frederick and 5-year-old Dorian Sandhills, have been living with their maternal grandparents in St. Petersburg. Their mother, Gigi Ulrich-Woodard Smith, was only allowed supervised visits.
It was reported to authorities Thursday morning that she left with the children and headed north.
An Amber alert was issued state-wide Thursday afternoon for the children, possibly traveling in a 2009 gray Altima.
The car was spotted at the Deerwood Inn, on South SR 53, in Madison.
Madison County Sheriff Deputies and Florida Highway Patrol officers found the children and their mother, as reported.
The children are reported to be unharmed and it is unknown what charges have been filed against their mother.
