On Thursday, May 26, Denny's of Madison received an unwanted customer. According to the working manager that day, Sean, it was an average work day until a few customers came up to complain that there was an alligator blocking the restaurant's entrance! About five to six feet long and the alligator was not aggressive towards any of the patrons or employees, but he showed no signs of moving either. After about two hours, one of the employees called the police, who arrived with a wildlife control officer. The animal was then removed from the premises without incident. Employees reported that their customers were not scared, but more excited. They were thankful that no one tried to approach the animal, as alligators can be incredibly dangerous.
