STORMS ENDANGER SENIORS’ ROOFS
Recently several low-income senior citizens have contacted case managers at the Senior Citizens Council of Madison County, Inc. to report leaks in their bedrooms and living rooms. These situations are especially dangerous with the possibility of heavy seasonal wind and rain in the area. Donations of roof coating are being accepted as well as financial donations to make necessary repairs as soon as possible. SENIOR CITIZENS ARE SEEKING WELL PUMPS
Depending on neighbors for water supplies, two low income senior citizens in Madison County must replace their well pumps at a cost of $500 to $1200. GREENVILLE SENIOR NEEDS FLOOR REPAIRS
A Greenville senior citizen is living in a home with rotting lumber and a deteriorating floor, especially in the kitchen. All lumber and supply donations for a floor replacement are appreciated.
