Mamie Morrow Smith Anderson, age 84, went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 11, 2011. Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 14, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Madison.
Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be
Monday, June 13, 2011, from 5-7 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home Madison Chapel, (850) 973-2258.
She was born in Madison but lived in many places in the country. She was a retired registered nurse and returned to Madison after many years in San Diego, Cal. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Madison and the Audrey Newman Circle.
She is survived by her three daughters, Janie (Walt) Corliss of Herndon, Va., Merry (Shane) Kingsley of San Diego, Cal., and Ann Kearns of Fayetteville, N.C., and grandson, Scott (Katelyn) Corliss. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Burley, and brother, George H. Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the First United Methodist Church of Madison or the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
