Keith Wendell Newman, age 61, died Sunday, February 6, 2011, in Madison.
Funeral services will be at noon on Friday, February 11, 2011, at Beggs Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service from 11 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.
He was born on November 5, 1949 in Madison, Florida. He retired from the US Army where he served two terms in Viet Nam.
He is survived by his mother, Gladys Newman of Madison; two daughters, Rachel Michelle and Angelique Newman; two brothers, Claude Newman of Ozark, Ala. and Earl Newman of Lee; a sister-in-law, Hiroko Cherry of Madison; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Ryan and Roman Alexander Montelongo; and a very close friend, Frances Butler.
